Senior Data Engineer

Hi there! 🙌 We're seeking a Senior Data Engineer. In this role, you'll be responsible for crafting scalable data architectures, executing ETL processes, and ensuring smooth data integration. Additionally, you'll spearhead the creation of Proof of Concepts for Data Mesh and provide guidance on cutting-edge technologies.

Your role:

• Design and maintain scalable data architectures.
• Implement ETL processes and ensure data integration.
• Drive adoption of Data Mesh principles.
• Create Proof of Concepts for Data Mesh.
• Advise on modern data technologies.

What is needed:

• 5+ years IT experience, 3+ in Big Data.
• Proven experience in data architecture design.
• Hands-on experience with ETL processes.
• Familiarity with modern data technologies.
• Proficiency in English.

Must-have skills:

• Proficiency in SQL, Java, Python, or Scala.
• Knowledge of Big Data technologies.
• Basic DevOps skills.
• Agile knowledge.

Nice to have:

• Familiarity with Data Mesh principles.
• Technical skills in Kubernetes, Container/Docker.
• Proficiency in German.

Role is mostly remote with some visits office in Berlin.
