Role Purpose
This role is within the
FNB Personal - Customer Sales and Interactions team. The purpose is to deliver analytical insights that supports the retail business at large, with special focus on Unsecured Credit Products. Some of the core team deliverables refer to sales analytics, insights, and reporting. By delivering in our role, we empower strategic conversations to take place and provide guidance to growth.
Suitable Characteristics For This Role
- Good understanding of Data Analytics in a large financial services organization.
- Understand both the technical points of Data Management and Analytics, as well as the business drivers and needs.
- Understands how to work with big data and transform data to be suited for analytical insights.
- Strong technical and coding proficiency (SAS & SQL).

Qualification And Experience
- Minimum Qualification: B Degree in Mathematical Sciences, Statistics, Actuarial Science or related degree
- Preferred Qualification: Honours Degree
- Experience: 1 - 2 years’ relevant Data Analytics or Customer Analytics experience within a Financial Service or Banking environment
- Intermediate level of proficiency to code in SAS is required.
- Intermediate level of proficiency to code in SQL will be advantageous
