Data Scientist

Requirements:

• Honours or Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Economics, Econometrics, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Demography, or a related field.


• A minimum of two years of relevant work experience, particularly within development, consulting, or public sectors.


• Proficiency in advanced quantitative data analysis using statistical software such as R, Stata, and Excel.


• Demonstrated experience in modeling, with advanced skills in Excel for modeling using both primary and secondary data.


• Ability to develop informed assumptions to facilitate modeling in contexts with limited data and information.


• Proficiency in translating data into compelling visuals.
