Role Description: 
  • Creation and maintenance of data orchestration pipeline  Including build/test/CI/infrastructure scripts, monitoring, logging
  • Supporting team and stakeholders, both in development and test environments
  • Continually learning and delivering best practices and tooling for Data delivery initiatives
  • Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified (risk accountability forms part of all roles, as everyone is responsible for managing risk and compliance)

Experience: 
  • 12+ years in data engineering
  • Developing and managing Data solutions
  • Technical expertise with data models, data pipeline orchestration techniques /tools
  • Source code management and branching solution (Git)
  • Jenkins/Hudson experience (or similar CI tools)
  • Working knowledge of Cloud environments

  
Highly desirable:
  • Strong hand-on experience on Could technologies
  • Strong knowledge on any RDBMS Database
  • Expertise in PowerBI reporting
  • knowledge on Control-M and UNIX / Python adds value

  
Key Accountabilities:

  • Supporting the build team (Dev and Test) to be self-sustained through training and troubleshooting
  • Continually learning and developing best practices and tooling for Data delivery
  • Proactively manage risk; meet all policy and compliance requirements; perform controls; adhere to Process and Procedures pertinent to role; and escalate events, issues or breaches as they are identified (risk accountability forms part of all roles, as everyone is responsible for managing risk and compliance)
