Data Engineer vacancy requiring profound Informatica Powercenter or Oracle knowledge for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
Your tasks:
- Developing and maintaining data frameworks to ensure accessibility and readiness for further use
- Gathering business requirements, designing and implementing solutions based on Oracle and Informatica Powercenter
- Developing, testing, and documenting changes to integration and reporting applications
- Translating business requirements into data and engineering specifications
- Providing 2nd and 3rd level support for applications under responsibility
Your experience/knowledge:
- 5+ years of general experience with Data Architecture or Data Engineering
- Strong background with PowerCenter by Informatica
- Expertise in SQL, preferably in large enterprise environments, with very good experience in Oracle or similar RDBMS
- Banking experience with complex ER models, coupled with expertise in integration and reporting applications
- Familiarity with meta-data driven applications, generic data models, and data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI
- Language skills: English and German - fluent in written and spoken
