About Our Client

Our client is a large commercial MNC with businesses across the globe. They are now hiring a Regional Data Engineer to oversee multiple brands across 7 markets in APAC.

Job Description

• Communicate and collaborate with HQ in Europe and multi-brand business users across 7+ markets
• Demonstrate strong business sense, gather user requirements and provide data solutions
• Process and rationalize structured and unstructured data. Integrate multiple data sources and databases into a centralized data platform
• Hands-on with building multiple ETL pipelines, data modelling and visualization
  
  
  

The Successful Applicant

• Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Information Systems or relevant disciplines.
• 4+ years' experience as a Data Engineer
• Hands-on with SQL/Python
• Strong experience in data modelling, warehousing and ETL processes.
• Experience with building multiple data pipelines
• Hands-on with any ETL tools e.g. Talend/ Informatica/ DataStage is preferred
• Experience with any big data cloud platforms (e.g. Big Query/ Redshift/ Snowflake)
• Hands-on with visualization tools e.g. Tableau/ Cognos/ Power BI/ Qlik
• Experience with MS SQL Server/ PostgreSQL is a plus
• Insurance/ retail/ property/ FMCG background is a plus
• Strong communication skills with business acumen
• Good command of Chinese and English
