Position Summary

In this role, you will be responsible for the design, development, and implementation of data pipelines and analytics applications using Snowflake as the core platform. You will work closely with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data needs and translate them into efficient and scalable solutions.

Mandatory Skills

• 3+ years of experience working with data warehousing or data lake solutions.
• 3+ years of experience writing clean, maintainable Python code adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Proven experience with Snowflake, including experience with SQL queries, data loading, and performance optimization.
• Experience with CI/CD tools and methodologies.
• Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau and Streamlit.
• Strong understanding of data modeling principles.
• Excellent SQL scripting skills.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Experience in using infrastructure as code to automate provisioning and deployment of cloud infrastructure.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Demonstrated experience in creating user training materials, workshops, and processes to empower end users.
• Experience working in a data science team to Experiment and build machine learning models with help of platforms like Vertex AI or AWS Sage Maker.
  
  

Duties And Responsibilities

• Design and build data pipelines using Snowflake for data ingestion, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing and deployment of Snowflake objects and code with Azure DevOps and schema change.
• Develop user-facing analytics applications using Tableau and Streamlit to visualize and analyze data stored in Snowflake.
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and analyze data.
• Design and implement data models to ensure data consistency and quality.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to understand data requirements and develop solutions that meet business needs.
• Implement best practices for data security and data governance in the Snowflake environment.
• Stay up to date with the latest advancements in Snowflake, Tableau, Streamlit, and other relevant technologies.
• Take part in agile ceremonies and business showcases.
