Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and identify opportunities for AI-driven solutions.
  • Design, develop, and implement AI models and algorithms to solve complex business problems.
  • Conduct data analysis, data preprocessing, and feature engineering to prepare data for AI model training.
  • Deploy AI models into production environments and ensure scalability, reliability, and performance.
  • Continuously monitor and evaluate the performance of deployed AI models, making improvements as necessary.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI technologies and methodologies, and propose innovative ideas for improvement.
  • Document and communicate technical solutions, methodologies, and best practices to team members and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with team members to provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers or interns.
  • Lead and own the end-to-end solution design and delivery of AI projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or node.js
  • Familiarity with data preprocessing techniques, feature engineering, and data visualization.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS or Azure) and experience with using AI models in cloud environments.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles and experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically and analytically.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Prior experience in AI projects or internships is a plus.

On-site Protocol

BMS has a diverse occupancy structure that determines where an employee is required to conduct their work. This structure includes site-essential, site-by-design, field-based and remote-by-design jobs. The occupancy type that you are assigned is determined by the nature and responsibilities of your role

Site-essential roles require 100% of shifts onsite at your assigned facility. Site-by-design roles may be eligible for a hybrid work model with at least 50% onsite at your assigned facility. For these roles, onsite presence is considered an essential job function and is critical to collaboration, innovation, productivity, and a positive Company culture. For field-based and remote-by-design roles the ability to physically travel to visit customers, patients or business partners and to attend meetings on behalf of BMS as directed is an essential job function.
