We offer

  • We are looking for a data engineer to help us on our journey of creating a more digital & efficient bank. In this position, you will be designing and coding data pipelines for a state-of-the-art cloud platform serving many different clients across a global organization.

You offer

  • A PhD or Master’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g. Software Engineering, computer science Mathematics, Physics, Economics or an equivalent education)
  • Demonstrated ability in understanding & creating efficient data models for complex business problems
  • Experience in working with distributed computing environments (e.g. spark, Hadoop or similar) and at least one of the following: Python, SQL, Spark
  • Knowledge of data modelling best-practices and the ability to apply an analytical & structured approach even in high pressure situations
  • Business fluency in English is required. German is a strong plus
  • Integrity, responsibility and confidentiality required for dealing with sensitive data
  • Validated experience as a strong, self-starting standout colleague who can adapt to working in a highly collaborative and flexible working
  • Experience with Credit Risk Management or finance is a plus
  • You have a strong coding background and bring a results-oriented analytical, conceptual and problem solving attitude
