Role Summary

We seek a skilled Data Engineer with a strong focus on business analytics and data visualization. The ideal candidate will design, implement, and maintain data systems and pipelines that support business intelligence and visualization efforts. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, analytical skills, and the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Data Pipeline Development: Design, build, and maintain robust data pipelines to process and integrate data from various sources;
• Dataset Management: Develop and manage scalable datasets and data warehouses, ensuring data integrity, security, and availability;
• Data Analysis and Interpretation: Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights through data analysis;
• Data Visualization: Create interactive and intuitive data visualizations using tools like Power BI or Metabase to support business decision-making;
• Business Intelligence: Develop and implement business intelligence solutions that enable data-driven decision-making across the organization;
• Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts, and other engineering teams to ensure data consistency and reliability;
• Documentation and Reporting: Document data workflows, procedures, and architecture to maintain a clear and comprehensive data management framework;
• Performance Optimization: Optimize data retrieval and processing speeds to improve system performance;
• DBT Implementation: Develop and manage DBT models to transform raw data into clean, tested, and documented data ready for analysis;

Education

Bachelor's or a Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a related field.

Requirements

• Experience in data engineering, data analysis, or a related field;Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases;
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with NoSQL databases;
• Hands-on experience with data visualization tools (e.g., PowerBI, Metabase, Looker);
• Familiarity with programming languages ​​such as Python;
• Experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud);
• Experience with ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tools like Pyspark, Pandas, Airflow, etc;
• Experience with DBT, building and maintaining DBT models.

Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities;
• Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders;
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and best practices;
• Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git).
