The Global Product Regulatory Stewardship team’s stated objective is to support our external and internal customers and other constituencies through regulatory compliance. The Regulatory Data Analyst will be responsible for our regulatory system maintenance and product compliance for our global H.B. Fuller’s business. Duties include SAP system work, preparation and maintenance of product safety documentation, and reviews for approving new products and raw materials. In this position the ability to collaborate and communicate across disciplines, functions and regions is highly valued.

PRIMARY DUTIES

This individual will be involved in a variety of regulatory activities, including:

  • Administer email inboxes related to (Material) Safety Data Sheets and general regulatory requests.
  • Request and organize data from raw material suppliers to support global regulations.
  • Interpret global regulations and determine how the regulations affect our raw materials, formulated materials, customer applications, and the product’s end use.
  • Support the management of our internal product lifecycle management systems to ensure that additions, updates, and maintenance being performed by other departments within H.B. Fuller do not compromise any aspects of existing regulatory compliance statuses.
  • Seek out and report as appropriate to business and technology teams on industry/government news (going beyond chemical regulatory and into world and application trends).
  • Develop relationships with global regulatory colleagues by working together in a collaborative manner.
  • Innovate efficient regulatory data management processes to improve and respond to stakeholders.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Chemistry degree or courses/trainings related to this area.
  • Regulatory and product experience.
  • Experience with SAP applications.
  • Knowledge on (M)SDS authoring software and databases.
  • Fluent English. Spanish a plus.
  • Ability to present ideas effectively and communicate well with all levels of management within a team environment on a variety of programs and projects.
  • Well organized. Able to work under pressure, manage competing demands and meet tight deadlines with strong follow through.
  • MS Office.
