Data Engineer - AWS, Python, NoSQL
Up to 90,000 + 15% bonus + remote
35-hour working week, flexible start-finish times
We have a great opportunity for a Data Engineer to work within a fast-moving digital ecommerce blue-chip business. This role will see you supporting the development of a state-of-the-art AWS based data platform and a bespoke data analytics application.
Reporting to the Head of Advanced Analytics and Data Engineering, you'll work alongside a team of Data Engineers, Data Scientists and Data Analysts to support with the development of an AWS state of the art data platform. You'll be focussed on developing new data models, core data sets, data extractions, transformations and loading processes.
This role would suit candidates coming from a Software Engineer, Business Intelligence or Data Analyst background.
Essential Skills And Experience
- Previous experience in a similar Data Engineer role developing big data cloud platform.
- Hands on experience with Python, AWS (or other cloud platform), S3, Airflow, SQL, Presto, Hive and NoSQL database.
- Experienced in writing complex SQL statements and data transformations in SQL.
- Business acumen.
The company offices are based in London/Hampshire but can offer 3 days per week home working.
