Senior Data Analyst SQL Contract 100% Remote
This position is responsible for developing data analysis to support disruptive new products. You will be working directly with various stakeholders including senior management. The role requires an excellent understanding of extracting the data and analyzing it provides insights to drive business decisions.
REQUIREMENTS:
BS in CS, MIS, or related technical degree.
8+ years of experience in the IT Industry.
Must have strong analytical skills, curiosity, and passion for working with numbers.
5+ years' hands-on SQL experience writing complex SQL queries and enhancing data models.
Must have strong Experience with Dimensional modelling.
High-level written and verbal communication in both general and technology-specific applications.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Analyze and interpret data and provide insights for businesses to take meaningful action
Collaborate with various teams to collect data and Prepare reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions.
Identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction
Support analysis and visualization of data for various stakeholders.
Establish and evolve KPIs to support business needs
Serve as a subject matter expert on datasets and actively mentor and support analysts
Develop best practices for cross-functional knowledge transfer and documentation
Own projects end-to-end, from initial requirements and data gathering to analysis and final deliverables
Efficiently handle ambiguity and multiple competing priorities.
Demonstrate a positive and ethical work style.
