Our client is a multinational group implementing a new SSC in Porto.

Act as the subject matter lead for Finance and related master and reference data.
Provide MDM guidance and support to both the company's business and BPO partners.
Build and maintain expertise in how master data flows across different business systems and a basic understanding of related core business transactions.
Build strong, collaborative partnerships with the company's Finance teams and MDM service provider partners.
Oversee and participate in the creation and publishing business MDM documentation, including training material as required.
Work with the MDM service providers to ensure master data problems and issues are effectively remedied in line with service level agreements (SLAs).
Plan and co-ordinate projects to implement new and revised MDM processes.
Update MDM service provider team members on new and modified processes, providing training where appropriate.
Actively participate in operational meetings between MDM RDC and the MDM providers, constructively raising issues and providing specialist advice as required.
Participate in design, testing and delivery activities for automation of MDM processes.
Be a champion for the use of standard MDM policies, procedures and standards. Advocate and facilitate wherever possible that business teams and third party partners adhere to these.
Identify opportunities to improve data quality metrics, agree with MDM RDC management team and implement in partnership with the business.
Perfil ideal
Degree level education in Accounting/Business Administration or equivalent.
Extensive work experience in a similar MDM or systems role.
Knowledge of key business process technologies, including Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
Strong financial modelling and analytical skills.
High standard of accuracy with financial and statistical data.
Good communication/ interpersonal and influencing skills.
Ability to deal with high levels of complexity, change and evolving processes, often at short notice.
Ability to work collaboratively with individuals and teams both cross-functionally and geographically.
Well-developed verbal and written communication skills. Strong ability to present information informatively and effectively to different audiences.
Robust skills in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Fluent English speaker, accurately able to read and write English and to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and management.
