Job Description
As a Senior Data Engineer, your key responsibilities will be to...
- Lead, design and implement Extract Transform Load (ETL) DBT and SSIS processes within the BI environment
- Lead, design and implement tabular models, including the construction of Data Views, Stored Procedures, Dimensions, and Tabular SSAS Cubes while adhering to development methodologies and relevant standards.
- Build complex SQL scripts to provide ad-hoc data extracts and analysis.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have...
- Exceptional SQL skills
- Extensive experience and understanding in dimensional data warehouse design and implementation
- Extensive experience MS BI stack (SQL Server data platform, T-SQL, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS & Power BI)
- Experience with cloud technologies - Snowflake, Azure and Power BI Premium
- Experience with version control tools (GIT)
- Strong experience with building visualisation/dashboards in PowerBI
