Sherpany was founded in 2011 with a vision of creating a world where every meeting counts. Our team is building a mobile and web based platform that allows effective decision making by digitally transforming meeting management processes. To date, over 7,000 leaders have improved their meeting productivity thanks to Sherpany. Tasks
As a Data Analyst at Sherpany, you will be part of our new “Analytics” team which will have a meaningful impact on Sherpany’s business operations. We are looking for someone who is eager to be part of building up a new team, it's processes and solutions and help our business stakeholders to succeed. As part of the Operations department, you will be reporting directly to the Head of Operations. Together with your main stakeholders - Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Finance - you will be creating reporting solutions which will help them improve their business activities.

What are the duties / responsibilities:- Understanding the underlying needs of your internal stakeholders in Sales, Marketing, Customer Success and Finance
- Creating a meaningful recurring reporting for your internal stakeholders
- Visualising data at first with Google Data Studio, Salesforce and Hubspot and later with a BI solution introduced by your team
- Grant fact-based insights in response to ad-hoc requests out of the business departments and be able to explain it to your stakeholders
- Perform regular reviews on data quality, be able to pinpoint issues (and underlying problems) and address the technology or process-teams as well as end user
- Continuously improve Sherpany’s data-product together with your team members of the analytics team
Examples of typical tasks:- You spend some time providing recurring reports to your stakeholders. This can be for example a performance reporting for activities of the Sales Executive or Customer Success Manager team.
- You perform an analysis in order to determine the healthiness of the sales funnel. In that process you also assess the data quality and take action to improve it if necessary
- You regularly update and maintain your aggregated reports that are being managed GSheets and visualized in Google Data Studio.
Requirements
- You have either worked in analytics or have completed your studies in a related field
- You are striving to expand your know-how and motivated to leave your footprint in Sherpany as part of the early stage analytics team
- Strong interest or knowhow in developing reporting solutions in the areas of performance management, CRM and strategic planning
- You like to visualize data to support your customer-facing stakeholders in finding the necessary insights to take the right decisions within their own field of responsibility
- You have strong analytical and technical skills and love to dig deeper into the data until you can tell a compelling story with your insights
- Autonomy in the use of Spreadsheets (Excel, Google Sheets)
- You have strong quantitative, problem-solving, and project management skills
- You demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Solid knowledge of basic statistics and mathematics
