Our Exciting Opportunity

Are you ready to be a key part of building up a new organization within the Data Analytics area?

We are now looking for you who is either recently graduated or is an experienced Data Scientist (2 – 5 years), who is ready to take their skills to the next level!

Our Development Unit develops the software which controls, supervises and analyzes base station functionality, which enables our mobile networks around the world. These mobile networks handle huge amounts of data, are the core to the accelerating digital transformation, and builds our connected IoT society where everything that can be connected will be connected.

In this position you will work in an agile, cross-functional team which covers data analytics, visualization and SW development, to be deployed in various products and micro-services.

You will

• Belong to an organization where the teams work with analytics and machine learning use cases.
• Design and develop data pipelines and flows using PySpark.
• Refine and clean data for reporting.
• Along with your team, have end-to-end responsibility for data flows including data ingestion, parsing and data visualization.
• Maintain existing data flows and support partners.
• Build reports using Tableau and other visualization frameworks.
• Keep up to date with standard methodologies in the data science and data engineering community.
• Communicate with Partners to understand and fulfill their needs.
• Use and surface data insights to the whole organization.
  

To be successful in the role you must

• Have Master’s degree or above in Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science or a related quantitative field is required.
• Preferably have 2-5 years of software development experience using in data analytics production systems.
• Be passionate in data analytics and have good knowledge about DevOps practices.
• Have a good understanding on how developer teams work with version control of both code and artifacts. In other words, how they collaborate using git, code collaboration tools (such as Gerrit, GitLab) and artifact management.
• Have experience using Linux, Python, SQL (SparkSQL), data visualization tools such as Tableau.
• Have experience in using distributed computing frameworks (such as Apache Spark, Map Reduce).
• Have experience working with unstructured data.
• Excellent communication skills
• Proficient in English, oral and written.
  

Good to have:

• Experience working with Docker, Kubernetes, Hadoop, Tableau or similar visualization tools.
• Domain knowledge within the field Telecommunication.
