Senior Data Analyst – Remediation Analytics
12 month max term / secondments
We have multiple exciting opportunities for Senior Data Analysts who will be accountable for the end to end ownership and delivery of data driven remediation projects within the CDAO (Central Data & Analytics Office) for Retail Banking.
We’re after a team player who has a blend of strong technical abilities (e.g. SQL, Teradata), problem solving skills and the ability to effectively communicate insights to our key stakeholders.
The role presents the opportunity to make a difference and will involve partnering with various retail banking products & stakeholders to drive better business and customer outcomes, by using data to deliver customer remediations and analysis, build new control reports and communicate high quality insights effectively to the business.
About You:
You are an experienced and capable data analyst, with a passion for analytics. You have a high level of attention to detail and experience in designing and delivering high quality data driven user stories.

What you will have:
Have intermediate/advanced SQL with experience working on Teradata
Have experience with data analysis tools or data engineering practices.
Have excellent skills to communicate complex business problems to a range of stakeholders.
Have familiarity with financial service retail products including their features, how they are distributed to customers, the compliance and regulatory frameworks in which they operate in Australia, risk frameworks that apply to product management and operations (desirable)
Have 4-6 years’ experience working in roles involving data analysis, Management Information, operations or technical business analysis
Formal qualifications are not required, however relevant tertiary degree or diploma in Commerce, Business or Mathematics is desirable.
