We are inviting applications for the role of M, Data Scientist/ Sr. Data ScientistWe are looking for a Data Scientist who would be responsible for the creation of new Data Science capabilities for the business by envisioning and executing strategies that will influence improvement of the business performance by enabling informed decision making of our CPG clients.
Responsibilities

• 
  
  Has worked extensively in the CPGR Analytics space with hands on experience in CPG domain under Consulting Analytics. Extensive knowledge in IRI data is a great advantage.
  
  


• Responsible for Training GOC resources to deliver Testing projects


• Responsible for Testing Capability Improvements/ Upgrades
  
  
  
  • Improvements in current analytical methods
  
  
  • Improvements in processes that result in reduced delivery time
  
  
  


• New Testing capabilities
  
  
  
  • New data streams (Shopper loyalty data integration)
  
  
  • Link to CSIA for targeting as a follow on to Test Results
  
  
  


• General responsibility for R integration across Innovation capabilities
  
  
  
  • Continued use of R for process improvements
  
  
  • Integration of Innovation capabilities with new data streams through R or possible other sources if R can%26rsquo;t handle data
    
  
  
  
  


• Has done extensive modeling work for solving core business issues using forecasting, predictive modeling, Machine learning


• Has a mix of modeling %26amp; programming experience %26amp; led analytics delivery.


• Proficiency in data manipulation/mining tools like R/SAS/SQL/MACROS required to work with Big Data is needed. Hence, higher comfort level with data manipulation and extraction of meaningful insights from large data and prior experience of working with large data is an added advantage.

Minimum Qualifications

• Masters in Statistics, applied mathematics, Computer Science or related discipline

• Personal drive and positive work ethic to deliver results within tight deadlines and in demanding situations
  


• Flexibility to adapt to a variety of engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations


• Superb communication and negotiation skills
