Use Bayesian methods and a wealth of data to put the science into a product that enables our customers to make decisions about their digital marketing strategy

Research and develop media mix models to recommend the optimal allocation of marketing budgets for our clients

Use synthetic control methods to design scientific experiments and analyze the incremental return on investment for marketing activities

Pull data from BigQuery, analyze it in Python with Jupyter notebooks, test hypotheses and iterate models

Present findings and recommendations back to internal and external stakeholders

Work with leading European and American e-commerce businesses who provide us a wealth of data for meaningful and well-founded analysis to develop products with a real-world impact

You have a strong academic background or equivalent experience in a quantitative discipline such as Quantitative Marketing, Econometrics, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics or related fields

You can take ownership of a data science project, from initial research to production -ready model

You have an inquisitive and analytical mindset and a knack for finding pragmatic solutions to problems

You have an affinity for reading research papers, condensing findings and applying these to industry problems

You have strong knowledge of Bayesian modelling, statistical distributions and their real-world applications

You are fluent in Python and common dat a analysis packages (NumPy, Pandas, Matplotlib)

Plus: previous experience in an e-commerce or digital marketing environment

Plus: familiar with Google LightweightMMM or comparable Bayesian MMM packages
