Job description

The hiring bank is looking for data engineering talent to join their expanding team.

Responsilities

To build enterprise Big Data Analytic and AI blueprint and collaborate with business users across the organisation to assess their needs and define analytical strategy to support Data Processing for core banking data to support Digital Transformation, automating and productising advanced big data transformation and analytics pipelines.
To assist the evaluation, selection and implementation of tools for data integration and analytics
To develop Cloud Data Lake, Data Modeling and build Extract-Transform-Load (ETL) processes
To build Real Time integration capabilities from data source and analytic platform to customer touchpoints
To build Data Governance capabilities and work with Data Scientist and Data Analyst
To collaborate with a broad spectrum of stakeholders, including data scientists, marketers, finance, technical expertise
To plan and monitor the work of Senior Analyst/Programmer, Analyst/Programmer and Programmer
Comply with all applicable regulations, rules, codes, guidelines and standards set by regulators and the Bank, and carry out duties with high integrity; and
Adhere to all established risk control guidelines, procedures and measures to identify, assess, report, mitigate and monitor the risks involved in the day-to-day work

Requirements

Degree Holder Computer Science, Information System, Statistics, Mathematics, or related disciplines
5-6 years solid hands-on experience in Data Management and Analytics.
Proficient in Python, Spark, Airflow, ETL tools (e.g. DBT, Data Fusion, IBM DataStage, Informatica, etc.) appropriate for large scale data processing, SQL development,
Experience in Big data, Cloud technologies and DaaS is an advantage
Good knowledge in RDBMS, NoSQL is a plus
Knowledge of Java is a plus
Interface with Machine Learning System for Digital Marketing integration
Strong leadership, embracing changes, fast learners with ability to work in a collaborative environment
Effective communication is a must to work with Data Scientists and Business Users.
Strong oral and written presentation in English and Chinese. Mandarin is a plus
Experience in conducting Business and System Analysis with strong business acumen
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
