Senior Data Engineer (Scala / GCP)

Our client, the leading powerhouse information hub is hiring a Senior Data Engineer (Scala / GCP).

As a Senior Data Engineer (Scala / GCP), your main responsibilities will be:

• Design, develop and deploy data pipelines in Google cloud Dataflow and Apache Spark.
• Design, develop and deploy backend services in Scala.
• Wirte unit and integration tests.
• Write analytical SQL queries on Big Query.

About you

• BsC in Computer science or any STEM relevant field.
• + 4 years of working experience programming Data pipelines in Scala and GCP.
• Experience working with Google cloud Big Data tools (Dataflow, Dataproc, BigQuery)
• Experience writing modern batch and streaming data pipelines (Apache Spark, Beam)
• Knowledge of Docker or Kubernetes
