The Role
The Senior Data Analyst is responsible for data, reporting, metrics, and analytics within the Lumen Mass Markets Dispatch Operations organization. This role will support the Business Intelligence Manager and Analytics team with analysis, reporting, and solutions activities. They will provide guidance to the business on short- and long-term decisions and help drive performance improvements.
The Main Responsibilities
- Provides business analysis and support for Mass Markets Dispatch Operations teams
- Creates ad-hoc reports along with the creation and presentation of quality dashboards that provide operational visibility to the business unit(s)
- Defines and provides data evidence to support business cases and quantify business opportunities for optimization
- Defines the data gathered and determines patterns pertaining to key performance indicators (KPIs) and business challenges
- Defines and provides data to support 'control' of delivered solutions (value realization)
- Develops high-quality graphs, reports, and presentations of data results
- Performs statistical analyses when needed
- Identifies, analyzes, and interprets trends or patterns in sometimes complex data sets
- Presents standard data sets and information in an understandable and compelling manner
- Executes different data analytics to ensure the completeness, quality, and consistency of data used for analytics across systems
- Identifies, analyzes, documents, and improves existing business processes
- Confirms business assumptions with data-driven facts
- Collaborates with all Mass Markets Dispatch Operations teams on data, results, and findings
- Other duties as assigned
What We Look For In a Candidate
- Demonstrated ability in developing complex automated Business Intelligence solutions using software such as Power BI, QlikSense, Tableau, or Looker
- PL/SQL experience
- Database Management Systems experience such as Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, or Snowflake
- Python development experience
- ETL experience
- Combined IT and Business Operations background
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.
