JOB SUMMARY

The Reporting and Data Sr Analyst or Expert is a Sr Analyst or Expert role, working within the EMEA Business Operations team to support the Transaction and Project Delivery functions at Microsoft. Responsible for acting as an information point of contact, exercising support and coordination duties to assist in the smooth delivery of Microsoft’s transaction and capital program across EMEA. The candidate should have strong excel and analytical skills and be a good communicator (both verbally and in written form), as the role involves liaison across cultures and time zones. They will be accountable for maintaining the collaboration tool (PI) – transitioning to Project Link, and as such should be proficient in PM tools and systems. They will also be responsible for running reports at numerous levels, and be able to prepare and interrogate data at various levels.

The candidate would be expected to progress other tasks and initiatives at the direction of the Business Planning and Compliance Manager on behalf of the Business Operations team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Transaction and Project Support - assist in RFP preparation, vendor set-ups, award/non-award notification, process of contracts/letters of engagement, routing of purchase orders, vendor set ups, NDAs

  • Critical Dates Reporting (CDR)

o Responsible for the end to end process of the CDR reporting activities.

o Receive and prepare the report for review at regional alignment calls

o Finalise, review and issue to Newmark Knight Frank (NKF)

  • Owner of the EMEA Reporting deliverable/rhythm of business (ROB)

o Flash reports – collate, review with PDM Director, Issue to client team

o SOX Report – engage with team to complete and share with client team

o GSR – coordinate TM Team to update GSR tool and accruals

o Expiration reports – coordinate TM Team to update and issue to NKF

Microsoft is a heavy stakeholder organization, and reports must be prepared for different audiences and different nuances combining a mixture of auto-filled and manually populated information. This aspect requires a lot of rigor around the timing of team inputs.

  • Forecasting support and cost benchmarking support
  • Participate in initiatives at the direction of the Business Planning and Compliance Manager and EMEA Operations Business Manager
  • Support the Business Planning and Compliance Manager and Reporting and Data Expert (Project Link role) as and when required and to cover absences
  • Perform duties in line with the ‘Statement of Work for Integrator Services’/Master Services Agreement
  • Other ad hoc duties as required
  • The role is Sr Analyst or Expert level
