Data Engineer

Use your previous experience working with large data warehouses, SQL, & teradata to write complex queries for a major financial services organisation

About the role and organisation

A major financial services organisation in the Sydney CBD with offices walking distance from Redfern Station with flexible WFH environment.

This role is an initial 6 month contract.

Your responsibilities will include (not limited to):
Writing complex queries using teradata

Design, develop and support a variety of critical applications

Translate highly complex written code and interpreting business requirements

Develop functionality using agile approach as specified in use cases/user stories and requirement specifications.

To be considered you will have the following skills and experience:

4+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar.

Demonstrated experience working with Teradata and SQL

Experience with PowerBI and ETL is highly desired though not required

A history of working with large enterprise organisations with large data warehouses

Agile working experience
