Position Overview
The Data Engineer’s role in MarTech team is expected to build a scalable platform to collect, enrich & activate data across multiple channels to deliver data driven marketing in the Coca-Cola System. This is a hands-on development position using PowerBI, Tableau with data sources mainly in AWS, Azure and Google Cloud.
The Data Engineer will collaborate with business and senior technology associates to 1) define the requirements for the data & analytics projects 2) development of solutions that will enable marketers to efficiently build and use platforms & services that enable data ingestion, enrichment and activation across channels.
The position will be an early stage IT role and will be a member of the Global IT function of Coca-Cola. The MarTech team will be part the Coca Cola company’s regional development center (RDC) in Singapore. The mission of the RDC in the MarTech domain is to analytically enable & automate brand building operations to build a competitive advantage for Coca-Cola Marketers.

Scalable & robust platform and services to collect and activate marketing data (from billions of consumers that the brand touches across the region) across multiple data sources and activation channels in offline and online channels seamlessly
Usable & effective platform that Marketers and Agencies adopt to execute data driven strategy, deliver actionable reporting & scalable marketing promotions that reuse necessary components.
Compliance with industry best practice software and company technical architecture standards
Stable & sustainable automated data pipeline and infrastructure.
Responsibilities
Play a key role in collecting and activating data via big data solutions and services.
Deliver actionable insights via reporting tools
Work on a reusable and scalable promotion platform with other team members
Work with marketers, data/business analysts to understand marketing challenges, business questions, processes etc.
Using Agile and Dev/Ops methods, build solutions utilizing technologies including AWS, Azure, PowerBI & Adobe stack.
Manage or participate in cross-functional teams to promote technology strategies, analyze, test products, perform proofs-of-concept, and pilot new technologies and/or methods.
Establish and document standards, guidelines, and best practices for teams utilizing the solutions.
Keep current on industry best practices and products that can be leveraged to support the company’s business objectives.

Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or related field.
Related Work Experience
Experience with cloud-based architectures. Strong preference for AWS experience.
Experience building big data solutions
Experience developing enterprise-class solutions
Qualifications
Working knowledge or experience in one, or more Big Data Technologies such as AWS Redshift, Glue, Athena, Kinesis and Apache Spark, Hadoop, HDFS, HIVE
Working Knowledge of Data Warehouse concepts and Schema modeling
Working Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL modeling and scripting
Working knowledge of AWS technologies including Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, SQS, SNS, RDS, Beanstalk, CloudFront, Basic Security knowledge (data & Cloud), CloudFormation
Working knowledge of serverless framework
Experience of working with Node.js, Angular/React, JSON, YAML
Python is must (PySpark, Boto3, JSON, Pandas and other data related libraries)
Skill in Shell Scripting will be advantageous
Experience building PowerBI and Tableau dashboards
Hands on coding experience with HTML, CSS and JS would be advantageous
Knowledge of marketing automation tools would be advantageous
Working knowledge or experience in latest DevOps technologies, able to build and enhance CI/CD (experience with GitHub, Git Actions are advantageous)
Good written and verbal communication skills (English)
Ability to work with geographically diverse teams via collaborative technologies.
Up to date on latest industry trends, able to articulate trends and potential clearly and confidently
