Position Type: Full-Time

Work Location: Aurora, IL (This role is fully remote)

Duties And Responsibilities

Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Works with the team to develop novel ways to meet business objectives utilizing cutting edge techniques and tools.
• Advocates and educates on the value of data driven decision making focusing on the “how and why” of solving problems.
• Assists analytics projects integrating work into applications and tools with data engineers, business leads, analysts and developers.
• Creates repeatable and interpretable models that are seamlessly incorporated into analytic data products.
• Engineers features by using your business acumen to find new ways to combine disparate internal and external data sources.
• Helps identify and develop long-term processes, frameworks, tools, methods, and standards.
• Stays connected with external sources of ideas through conferences and community engagements.
• Solves clustering, classification, regression, anomaly detection, simulation, and optimization problems on large scale data sets.
• Collaborates with team members and communicates relevant information to direct leader.
• Upholds the security and confidentiality of documents and data within area of responsibility.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education And Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Business or a related field required.
• A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience required.
• Retail or QSR experience preferred.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau preferred.
• Experience with Big Data technologies such as Azure Stack preferred.
• Knowledge of Python or R and writing complex SQL queries preferred.
• Experience with Machine Learning preferred.
• Or, a combination of education and experience providing equivalent knowledge.
  

Physical Requirements

• Work may be performed in an office, remote office or a combination of both where a computer and office equipment may be used as needed to perform duties.
• Regularly required to sit, reach, grasp, stand and move from one area to another.
• Constantly and repeatedly use keyboard/mouse.
• Occasionally required to push, pull, bend, lift and move up to 25 lbs.
  

Travel

• Domestic travel required.
• Up to 10%.
