The Company And Team

Working for a great insurance company who provide mainly motor, car and house insurance. They are one of the most well-regarded advanced analytics companies with this part of the business being opened a few years ago. You will be joining the Data and Change team within the lending business, using skills to optimise and enhance the data infrastructure for long-term stability, scalability, and security to meet the business data and MI needs.

The Role

As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for:

• Maintaining the day-to-day flows and transformations into the database,
• Proactively manage data requests from the business
• Strong communication with stakeholders whilst collecting and delivering requirements
• Support the wider team to facilitate business change requirements across multiple platforms
• Embed robust ETL processes and support the reporting and analytical needs of the business
• Implement data quality, integrity,controls and governance, compliant with industry standards
  

Skills And Experience

• Able to work in fast-paced environments
• Strong initiative and mindset with the ability to identify improvement areas
• Structured approach to problem solving
• Experience with Server and Cloud SQL databases
• Experience using programming languages
• Experience in financial services
• Large data set experience
• Experience with Snowflake
• 1-2 years in Data Analytics
