Senior Data Engineer

Two Chairs is continuing to hire with all interviewing and on-boarding done virtually due to COVID-19. Everyone new to the team, along with our current staff, will temporarily work from home until it is safe to return to our offices.

About the role

As a Senior Data Engineer at Two Chairs, you'll own our data end-to-end, from enabling stakeholders through dashboards and reports to data model and infrastructure design.

Where you'll make an impact:

• Lead data strategy and company-wide data architecture in order to meet company, partner, and client information needs.
• Own data integrity for our key product and company health KPIs.
• Partner with people across the company (Product, Finance, Business Development, Operations, Clinical Care) to understand data needs and pain points.
• Build systems, tools, and documentation to enable and empower data customers from around the company to confidently build accurate dashboards, run data research projects, instrument features, and support outcome studies.
• Define and iterate on our data models and pipelining to best support engineering, product, and business goals.

You'll be successful if you:

• Are a self-starter and see projects through from inception to completion with minimal oversight.
• Have experience working cross-functionally and partnering with stakeholders across departments of varying levels.
• Care deeply about product experience and quality.
• Have experience driving technical ideas and communicating clearly with technical as well as non-technical audiences.
• Have experience using SQL to explore data and build dashboards and working with tools such as Looker, Tableau, and/or Metabase.
• Have experience in ETL design and implementation.
• Have experience in data modeling, schema design, and data warehousing.
