ICF’s IT modernization division is seeking a Data Science Intern to help us with our groundbreaking work in public health. We are looking for DevOps types with a focus on Web+Cloud, as many of our studies require the development of Web Apps, PWAs, but also FaaS, engagment of NoSQL managed services, REST APIs etc.

Interns at ICF are expected to apply their academic and past work experience knowledge to a wide variety of projects and interact with both internal and client facing team members.

Basic Qualifications:

• Pursing or completion of a post-graduate degree in a health related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Science, or related field
• Experience with analytical methodology like PCA, differential expression, and gene ontology/pathway enrichment in R
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Java, R, Git, and Microsoft Office Suite

Professional Skills:

• Creative thinker, analytical, and problem-solver with strong attention to detail and willingness to embrace new challenges
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-disciplinary team or independently
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Organizes written work in a manner that is clear, easy to follow, and tailored for the intended audience
