Digital Data Analyst

FocusKPI, Inc. is looking for a Paid Data Analyst to work for our client. This is a full-time contract remote position.

Do you love examining complex data and turning it into useful information and insights? Do you love finding the next big ‘aha’ insight which changes the way a business thinks about their customers? Using your business instincts and technical creativity, you will build tools to automate reporting and generate insights that will allow marketing leaders to react quickly and accurately see how our initiatives are performing. We're growing quickly, so you'll need to define, implement, and scale the systems and processes for delivering data to colleagues across the marketing organization. You'll be a phenomenal fit for this role have a strong bias towards action and enjoy finding patterns amidst chaos, making quick decisions, and aren't afraid of being wrong.

On the first day, we'll expect you to have

• 3-5 years of experience in technical reporting and analytics fields

• Advanced proficiency in SQL

• Knowledge of core digital marketing tactics, including online and offline channels, incrementality, attribution, LTV and ROI calculations, etc.

• Familiarity with at least one digital marketing platform such as Adwords, Facebook, DoubleClick, or Google Analytics

• Proficiency building visualizations in Tableau

• Comfort operating in ambiguous, fast-changing environments

• A keen eye for identifying and resolving data inconsistencies

It's great, but not required, if you have:

• Experience working in a global environment with remote teams

• Experience collaborating with senior management, translating data-driven insights into

  decisions and actions

• Experience in using at least one scripting language (Python, R, JS, HTML, etc.)

• Experience with Git

• Experience working with or at an ad agency

• Experience with statistics and regression analysis

• An advanced degree in a quantitative discipline, such as statistics, economics,

  mathematics, or computer science
