About the job
With this position you will become a part of the global Automation Development team, which is responsible for the development of advanced control systems as well as IoT and data-driven solutions for all Alfa Laval core products. Our driving force is to accelerate success for our customers, people and planet. You can only achieve that by having dedicated people with a curious mind. Curiosity is the spark behind great ideas. And great ideas drive progress.
The main focus of the position will be to research and develop innovative Data Science and Machine Learning strategies for challenging problems that will affect Alfa Laval's products connecting actual machines to data. In addition to this you will be responsible to deliver data-driven technologies that are aligned with the needs of the customers.
What you know
- MSc in Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, or a related field
- Extensive knowledge of Python or several years of programming experience in similar language to Python
- Knowledge of Matlab
- Knowledge of statistical analysis, optimization
- Experience in some common Machine Learning & visualization tools such as SciKit-Learn, Pandas, Numpy, dash, PowerBI
- 1-2 years work experience in relevant field
