Data Analyst

To be considered you will be likely have worked in a commercial or financial environment, have previous budget or forecast experience as well as a good knowledge of statistical methodologies and data analysis techniques.

Your responsibilities will include:

• ensuring that detailed and accurate data analysis informs/drives company business decisions
• programming an in house system which then controls the sales for the business including on the web and app, including creating discounts and corporate packages for the customer base
• running reports to show sales and trends
• running reports from the system against a variety of metrics
• Use the system to analyse data
• providing data from the above systems to reporting bodies on both a periodic and ad hoc basis
• supporting the senior management with revenue forecasts for budgeting and development
• production of models to test potential amendments to pricing and other factors in the sales process
• working with data to produce various models
• use of data to inform the management team
• assisting in the preparation of competitive bids
• work on data produced to ensure outputs are correct
• production of period route costing reports
• measuring return on marketing campaigns and new investments
• providing easy to read and intuitive graphs, charts, tables and reports for the senior leadership team
• occasional other duties or projects as may be reasonably required as directed by the senior leadership team
  
  

In order to be considered you will need

• financial awareness and general business acumen
• a high level of numeracy, analytical capability and attention to detail
• to be computer literate (proficient in Excel and use of databases)
• to be able to work independently or part of a team
• strong verbal/written communication skills to present findings to the senior leadership team
