Master Data Analyst

Summary of the role

Responsible for ensuring the master data integrity of Enterprise Applications systems whilst identifying and implementing data quality improvements, ensuring systems data quality and integrity, taking active mitigation and governance steps. Essential responsibilities for this position include the following: actively participate in scoping and planning of business roadmaps and future enhancements, create, and maintain stories supporting a healthy backlog as needed, participate in scrum events, and perform test scenario planning/reviewing. Additionally, the individual must perform functions such as: facilitate user acceptance testing, actively participate in system integration testing, creation of specifications, and troubleshooting data issues.

How you will make an impact:

• Ensures master data integrity in key systems
• Identifies areas for data quality improvements
• Ensures quality of master data in key ERP/OTC systems
• Provides assistance in resolving data quality problems
• Create and maintain user stories supporting the backlog
• Partner with technology solution architect teams to refine requirements and sizing. Support development, testing, and delivery
• Proactively interact with business stakeholders to set expectations for technical solutions
• Escalate issues to Enterprise Application Product Owner / Product Manager

We are looking for people who have:

• BA/BS degree or equivalent qualification/experience
• 3+ years of business analyst experience
• Speaks effectively one-on-one and in groups
• Makes effective presentations
• Writes clear, well-organized reports and memos using appropriate style, grammar
• Demonstrates active listening by conveying an accurate understanding of other’s messages
• Strong drive in cascading strategy and product decisions
• Knowledge of scrum methodology and Agile processes
• Capable of building business cases
• Problem solving capabilities
• Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
• Adapts well to changes at work
• Is able to break down complex problems/tasks into manageable parts, and allocates own time efficiently
• Understands and utilizes project management tools and techniques to meet project deadlines
• Skilled in direct management. Ability to coordinate resources (internal & external) to meet time and quality targets.
