Data Scientist - FULLY REMOTE

Piper Companies is seeking a Data Scientist to provide data engineering support and expertise within a federal program. This is a long term contract role (18 month+) that is fully remote.

Responsibilities of the Data Scientist:

• Provide data expertise in operational data - solving problem framing, data preparation, model building, model deployment, model management, and output consumption
• Build Long-term relationships with clients/customers
• Review Complex use cases as needed
• Conducting and Managing data science projects in collaboration with clients and colleagues

Qualifications of the Data Scientist:

• Strong understanding and knowledge of modern and emerging data techniques and standards (4+ Years of Experience)
• Knowledge in AI and Machine Learning
• Strong communication skills and ability to coordinate technical information
• Fluency in scripting (Python/R)

Citizenship and Clearance Requirements:

US Citizen

Active TS/SCI clearance

Compensation for the Data Scientist:

• Rate per Hour Dependent Upon Experience
