Description:
As a Data Engineer for the Distributed Performance Engineering team, you will be responsible for building a data pipeline to simplify one of the team's common workflows. The best sources for each data point must be identified, ingested, stored, and presented to an analytics layer.
A stretch goal for this position is to build out a Web UI and API to interact with the analytics layer, allowing individual or bulked analyses to be initiated by users with minimal technical skill.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience using Python to develop data pipelines
Experience designing databases for efficient data storage
Experience exposing datasets via API, Web UI, or other means
Produces effective documentation
Preffered Skills:
Familiarity with code management in Git repositories
Experience automating script execution in Rundeck
Experience with full stack web development (preferably with Python)
Experience deploying web stacks or API servers in Kubernetes environments
