Data Engineer

Piper Companies is currently seeking a remote Data Engineer for a healthcare technology company based out of Durham, NC. The Data Engineer will be working on a team to ingest data from hospitals and other medical practices.

Responsibilities of the Data Engineer:

• Collaborate with team members for major data ingestion
• Process large data sources efficiently into central host
• Utilize prior experience to fine-tune skills and excel in a rapid environment

Qualifications of the Data Engineer:

• 2+ years of Data Engineering experience
• Experience with ETL processing and Python
• Experience with JSON

BONUS: Experience with large data tools like Spark

Compensation for the Data Engineer:

• Salary Range: 115-130K
