Your role:

  • As Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d) you design, build and maintain the ML pipeline and workflows, that automate data collection, analysis, experimentation, model training, model serving and monitoring in production
  • You build, test and maintain the infrastructure and tools to facilitate the consistent and automated AI software solution development and release process
  • You automate model training as well as release workflows, build services around ML inference and model deployment for runtime processing
  • You liaise closely with our Data Engineers (m/f/d) in order to scale model training, build pipelines that help to continuously improve models deployed in production, explore new data sources and model features
  • You implement measures to improve the reliability and performance of the ML infrastructure and continuously strive to improve ML pipeline development as well as operation process
  • By sharing your expert knowledge regarding ML Engineering, architecture and MLOps, you contribute to our overall mission at the DATA Alliance

Your skills:

  • Successfully completed studies in Computer Science or a related field
  • At least two years of relevant work experience as a Data Engineer (m/f/d), Machine Learning Engineer (m/f/d) or in a similar role with strong ML background with experience in building, deploying and maintaining ML models in production
  • Programming skills in Python and ability to write efficient, well-tested code with a keen eye on maintainability
  • In-depth experience with Big Data, SQL and NoSQL databases
  • Experience with ML frameworks, python tools for data science and MLOps tools such as pytorch, TensorFlow, ModelDB, MLFlow and Kubeflow
  • Experience with cloud based data pipelines optimized for ML applications. GCP is a plus
  • You enjoy working in an agile team, like to get involved, think out of the box and are keen to tackle new topics
