About The Role

Unlock the potential of data and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of IT & D as a Senior Data Scientist / Engineer / Visualisation Analyst at our progressive and inclusive company. Your responsibilities

  • Lead the development and implementation of Search CPC recommendation engine, focusing on bidding strategy optimization to enhance share of voice and revenue without impacting CPC.
  • Spearhead the Eventing Advanced Analytics project, offering near real-time recommendations on Amazon's sales strategies to maximize performance during key sales events.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate and scale the recommendation engines and advanced predictive models to drive e-commerce performance, ensuring effective audience and sales KPI management for DSP campaigns.
  • Engage in the end-to-end process of building and deploying machine learning models, from data preparation to model deployment, with a keen focus on advanced analytics for business decision-making.
  • Work on cloud-based analytics projects, particularly on Azure, to build custom data pipelines and connect with diverse data sources.
  • Contribute to the expansion of the Data Science community within the company and support the growth of the Center of Excellence.

The experience we're looking for

  • Proven experience in developing recommendation systems, predictive search, and utilizing NLP concepts.
  • Strong analytical skills with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in applying advanced analytical techniques to achieve practical business impacts.
  • Proficiency in Python and familiarity with other programming languages.
  • Deep understanding of machine learning, statistical methods, and their applications in business analytics.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure Cloud and knowledge of other cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, organizational abilities, and a desire to work in a dynamic team environment.
  • A university degree focused on quantitative methods, econometrics, statistics, mathematics, or related fields.
  • Proficiency in English, with additional languages considered a plus.
