Emphasys PHA Software is seeking an experienced
Data Analyst and Reports Developer. This role is the backbone of the Database Solutions department, and an excellent launch pad for other Emphasys PHA Development roles. Data Analysts diagnose and resolve data-level issues with SQL databases, as well as being a skilled reports developer in the area of Crystal and SSRS reporting.

Responsibilities
- Design, optimize, and maintain Emphasys's databases.
- Design, build, and validate our database's stability and efficiency.
- Continuously analyze and strengthen existing applications for reliability, availability, security, and scalability.
- Contribute to changes in development standards and processes.
- Conduct diagnostics when necessary to help determine the root cause of problems.
- Contribute to the continual improvement of solutions, systems, and processes.
- Work on a fast-moving and highly collaborative development team.
- Participate and be an active contributor to the team’s software development lifecycle including Daily SCRUM, Stand-Ups, User Story Review and retrospectives.
Requirements - A passion for problem solving
- Knowledge of SQL programming language (MS SQL preferred)
- Experience with developing Crystal Reports
- Technical proficiency regarding database design development and data models
- Experience in handling reporting packages like Business Objects, SSRS
- Ability to independently juggle between prioritized tasks as time and resources allow
- Developing and maintaining databases, data systems
- Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems
- Preferred:
- Knowledge of data visualization software like Tableau, Power BI
- Knowledge of MS SSRS
- Having knowledge in the Low Income public Housing or Housing Choice Voucher market
