NYAS is undergoing a major transformation project to move to a new case management system called CHIP, built in Microsoft Dynamics. The system supports a variety of business functions including the recording of case work, the claim of expenses for our self-employed contractors; and collating data about our relationships and business activities with the external organisations we deliver services for, including Local Authorities across England and Wales.
An opportunity has arisen for a Data Analyst to work with our new MS Dynamics system (CHIP) and associated systems and tools, including PowerBI to audit and analysis data for the purposes of data integrity and performance management.
You will devise, recommend and implement effective report templates for generating management information from CHIP and other sources to support NYAS in:
Embedding CHIP and achieving good quality data input from all users
Managing contract performance
Improving the flow of management information to support operational activities, including internal performance monitoring.
You will be required to lead on the data transfer project between our old system(s) and CHIP for 600 records, including scoping the requirements, designing the export and import datasets and resolving import failures.

Proven working experience analysing business data
Technical knowledge of database systems including relational database models
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statisticalpackages for analysing datasets (Excel etc)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organise,analyse, and disseminate significant amounts of informationwith attention to detail and accuracy
Solution focused.
