Nous sommes à la recherche d’un ou une
pilote à distance pour à se joindre à notre équipe dynamique et en pleine croissance à
Montréal. Ce poste consistera à piloter des drones quadricoptères pour recueillir des données et comprendra de la photographie aérienne, de la cartographie, des levés et des inspections. Une expérience en traitement de données, y compris en systèmes d’information géographique (SIG), arpentage, cartographie ou ingénierie/modélisation, est hautement souhaitée.
Le ou la titulaire du poste aura les tâches suivantes :
- Agir en tant que pilote/opérateur de drone dans le cadre de projets commerciaux au nom de GHD
- Acquérir et gérer des données LiDAR, de photographie et de thermographie à l’aide d’aéronefs multirotors.
- Traiter les données LiDAR, de photographie et de thermographie en fonction de ses connaissances
- Produire ou coordonner des livrables tels que des registres de photos, vidéos, cartes, figures et dessins d’arpentage.
- Interagir avec les clients' internes et externes au sujet des capacités et des applications de systèmes aériens sans pilote (UAS).
- Former les nouveaux pilotes
Compétences, Aptitudes Et Qualifications
- Diplôme de 2 ans en sciences, ingénierie ou technologie
- Certificat de pilote de drone avancé reconnu par NAV CANADA
- 2 ans d’expérience ou 50 heures de pilotage d’aéronef sans pilote
- Excellentes habiletés à interagir avec les clients internes/externes potentiels
- Excellentes aptitudes de communication écrite et orale
- Flexibilité et capacité à gérer des priorités concurrentes
- Des déplacements pour des durées de plus de 24 heures pourraient être requis
Recommandé :
- Une maîtrise ou un diplôme de niveau plus élevé en science, ingénierie ou technologie
- Connaissance des méthodes de capture et traitement des données d’UAS, y compris la photogrammétrie, le LiDAR et la thermographie
- Connaissance de l’arpentage, des SIG ou de la conception et du dessin assistés par ordinateur (CDAO)
- Expérience en gestion de projets
- Capacité à communiquer en français, verbalement et par écrit

We are looking for a
Remote Pilot / Data Analyst who is ready to join our growing and diverse team in
Montreal. This position will involve the operation of Quad-copter drones to collect data and will involve aerial photography, mapping/surveying and inspections. Data processing experience including GIS, surveying, cartography, or engineering/modelling is helpful.
The successful candidate will:
- Act as drone pilot/operator on commercial drone efforts on behalf of GHD
- Acquire and manage LiDAR, photography, and thermography data using multi-rotor aircraft
- Process LiDAR, photography, and thermography data, depending on knowledge
- Generate or coordinate results, such as photo logs, videos, maps, figures, and survey drawings
- Collaborate with internal and external clients on UAS capabilities and applications
- Train new remote pilots
Skills, Competencies and Qualifications:
- 2-year degree/diploma in science, engineering, or technology
- Nav Canada Advanced Drone Certificate
- 2 years of experience / 50 hours of operating unmanned aircraft
- Strong ability to collaborate with potential internal/external clients
- Excellent communication skills; both verbal and written
- Flexibility and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Some overnight travel may be required
Recommended:
- 4-year degree or higher in science, engineering, or technology
- Knowledge of sophisticated UAS data capture and processing methods, including photogrammetry, LiDAR, thermography
- Knowledge of land surveying, GIS, or CADD
- Experience with project management
- Ability to communicate in French; both verbal and written
