Madison Logic is an industry-leading, rapidly growing MarTech company in B2B lead generation space.

Overview:

We are launching a new Data Science team to contribute to the evolution of the business and discover new insights in this rapidly changing field.

Reporting to the Head of Engineering, this will be the first hire so you will be instrumental in defining and building the function.

You must be a data and strategy focused individual with the ability to apply machine learning and artificial intelligence to real business challenges.

Main responsibilities:

  • Act as a hands-on Data Scientist by tackling a rich set of tangible problems that have measurable business impacts
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions
  • Apply your math, optimization, machine learning and AI skills to solve business challenges
  • Use analytical skills to created advanced and easy to understand data visualizations
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to assess and provide data analysis & strategy recommendations for business questions
  • Keep up to date on trends, tools and research

What we are looking for:

Experience:

  • Some experience with Python or R Machine Learning Libraries (bonus points for both)
  • Some experience in SQL.
  • Familiarity with statics.
  • Familiarity with Machine Learning Models: Gradient Boosting Machines, K-means clustering, Neural Networks, Support Vector Machines, Bayesian Networks, Natural Language Processing, Regression Analysis, model testing, logistic regression.
  • Working knowledge of one or more other machine learning frameworks: Tensorflow; Scikit; Pytorch; Keras, etc.

  • Report writing, clear and concise
  • Excellent communications, presenting their findings to stakeholders

Entry requirements:

Standard entry:

  • Level 3 qualification (apprenticeship/A-levels/BTEC, etc)
  • OR equivalent work experience (typically two years in a relevant role)

Plus:

  • 5 GCSE’s, including English and Maths at Grade 4 (C) or above
  • Experience with using Excel and Microsoft products (or similar)

You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme. In this instance you could still be considered for the programme.

If you hold international equivalents of the above qualifications, at the time of your application you must be able to provide an official document that states how your international qualifications compare to the UK qualifications.

Salary:

£20,000 per annum.

Future prospects:

92% of QA Apprentices secure permanent employment after finishing their apprenticeship. Additionally, there may be opportunities to undertake further apprenticeship training as many of our programs offer on-going development tracks.
