You are a strategic thinker with a knack for capturing business insights through data and analytics. You are able to find the narrative in an ambiguous world to enable our executive to drive measurable outcomes. You will use programming languages to join various systems/databases together or access and connect to new data sources while recommending and implement ways to increase data quality and reliability.
Here's how
The data scientist will use programming languages to join various systems/databases together or access and connect to new data sources. They will recommend and implement ways to increase data quality and reliability. The data engineer will work in collaboration with a data analyst and as such will develop data set processes for data modelling, mining and production.
On top of that, the individual will provide subject matter expertise around performance analytics, trends, and usage & registration patterns to drive strategic recommendations to improve the performance of our product development and marketing initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Own and drive consolidated reporting for the TAG Team
  • Mine data and provide views enabling business insights
  • Lead analysis and prepare executive level summary reports to support decision-making and drive operational efficiencies
  • Support strategic programs with data visualization
  • A problem-solver, action-oriented and driven by results
  • A strong collaborator
  • A self-starter and able to take initiatives
  • Able to work alone or in team
  • Capable of working on multiple projects with competing priorities
  • Comfortable and thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
Great-to-haves
  • 5+ years’ experience in an analytics role
  • Experience with reporting tools such as Tableau, Power BI and R
  • Project management capabilities with proven attention to detail and adherence to quality standards
  • Experience in technology, software, high tech or agriculture sectors is a strong asset
