GRM US Technology, Data and Analytics Engineering is actively searching for a highly productive member of a distributed, dynamic agile team to serve as a technical expert in data analysis, design, analytics, and reporting solutions. This position will support Agile & Portfolio Data Management department within Data and Analytics Engineering. This is a range posting; the hiring manager is open to a Senior Data Analyst / Principal Data Analyst.
Job Summary:
As a Senior Data Analyst / Principal Data Analyst, you will work collaboratively with geographically diverse agile organizations to:
- Analyze and simplify complex data
- Produce and deliver BI dashboards and reports
- Drive data-related initiatives
- Manage and keep the organization on track with spend, equipment (capital and opex) licensing, software agreements, vendor agreements, resource strategy, plans, RFPs, resource efficiencies by assessing needs/capacity/availability.
- Asset lifecycle data analysis – retires, manage cost savings and ROIs.
- Cost analyses and efficiency initiatives.
- Scorecard, metrics, MOS, KPIs. Measure and demonstrate organizational efficiencies with data analysis and reporting
This is a fast-paced environment providing rapid delivery of a variety of quality data analysis and expertise supporting the broader GRM US Technology, Data Analytics and Engineering. Currently focusing on a variety of initiatives supporting agile practices, asset lifecycle, resource efficiencies, metrics, analytics, reporting, financial tracking, equipment contracts. In this role you will work on a highly collaborative team that values speed and quality, with a strong desire to drive change and foster a positive work environment. In this role you will:
- Work in a dynamic and exciting agile organization to develop creative data-driven insights.
- Demonstrate open minded and collaborative approach to creating innovative technical solutions.
- Analyze data and technical system problems to design and implement effective, flexible solutions.
- Work with technical and business peers on development efforts including designing, analyzing, assessing, and reporting.
- Assist in data management deliverables such as business need analysis and high-level data modeling techniques.
- Identify and recommend appropriate continuous improvement opportunities
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or master's degree in technical or business discipline, or equivalent experience, technical degree preferred.
- Generally, 5+ years of professional experience.
- Diversified background of data analysis, BI/Analytics, financial/cost management, cost improvements, driving initiatives, managing metrics.
- Experience developing BI reports and dashboard solutions
- Knowledge of a variety of data environments, tools, technology.
- Cloud and on-premises technical experience preferred.
- Extensive experience with SQL and database query tools
- Requires critical thinking, data analysis, data reporting and financial/budget management experience.
- Ability to identify, track, and drive cost efficiencies.
- Experience analyzing resource efficiencies and demonstrating optimal resource balancing, and cost efficiencies for an organization.
- Knowledge of IT concepts, strategies, methodologies
- Experience working with agile methodologies and cross-functional teams (Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Developers, Test Engineers)
- Good negotiation and communication skills
- Must be team oriented with strong collaboration, prioritization, and adaptability skills required
- Must be proactive and self-driven, demonstrated initiative and be a logical thinker.
- Strong leadership, communication, collaboration skills with a track record of taking solution ownership
