Your Purpose:
As the Senior Data Scientist working across one of the world’s most recognised food chains, you will assist in leading the continuous development and optimisation of machine learning and statistical models. You will then use these models to deliver actionable insights to drive value to your client and drive ROI. You will also use your experience to understand business problems, create insights and envisage practical solutions in areas such as campaign optimisation and customer insights.
Your Responsibilities:
- Deliver consultancy services to the client on business, data, and analytics enquiries
- Provide technical leadership to the data scientists and data analysts in the team
- Develop and deliver business solutions and optimization through various statistical and quantitative methods
- Manage and lead the ongoing enhancement of existing customer engagement/re-engagement solutions and the optimization of product offers including loyalty based offers
- Lead the design, implementation, and evaluation of experimental (RCT and split testing) and observational tests for campaign setup, machine learning models, and offers optimisation
- Deliver non-technical presentations to all levels of the business internally
Your Expertise:
- Proven experience as a data scientist, ideally leading or mentoring a small team
- Experience in statistical modelling and machine learning techniques (feature engineering, data pre-processing, regression, classification, segmentation, recommendation engines etc.)
- Strong experience in Python and SQL programming languages
- Experience working in a cloud environment is beneficial
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to both interpret and convey information in a clear, concise way to stakeholders with various levels of technical understanding
- Ability to work in a fast-paced growth environment
