Located out of our Calgary office, the individual in the Data Analyst role will report to the Supervisor, Integrity Management. The Data Analyst supports Inter Pipeline’s strategies for ensuring the safe, reliable and regulatory compliant operation and maintenance of pipeline systems, liquids extraction plants and the Heartland Petrochemical plant.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience related to data management and database software.

Experience

  • Experience with Database software is an asset
  • Experience in the oil and gas industry is preferred

Skills :

  • Advanced Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, visual basic)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word and Power BI

Key Activities and Responsibilities

  • Support populating and maintaining the Equipment Integrity Data Management System (PCMS database)
  • Assist with loading integrity data into the pipeline integrity database (UPDM)
  • Support development, collection and reporting of Integrity Metrics through dashboards
  • Support scheduling and tracking of pipeline integrity work activities
  • Assist with mining data for trends and learnings
  • Assist with Engineering Assessments by extracting and compiling required information
  • Steward integrity metrics data gathering and reporting
  • Collect and deliver data required for CEPA pipeline integrity performance metrics
  • Support data corrections by creating and issuing decision memos for approval
  • Assist with pipeline dig data extraction for upload into the pipeline integrity database (UPDM)
  • Monitor rectifier operation through the RMU software
  • Maintain the cathodic protection system operation and data dashboard

Hours:

Full time, Monday – Friday

Employment of a final candidate will be conditional upon completion of an employment verification with satisfactory results.
