Our IT R&D organization constantly establishes new technology to help R&D Tires design and develop the best-performing and most sustainable tires on the market. Naturally, we work in close partnership with the Tire Research and Development team to ensure the solutions we build help the Tire team be the most efficient and effective it can be.

You will be part of a versatile team of business intelligence and analytics specialists that provides data solutions to ensure and accelerate Continental’s internal digitalization.
Contribute to our goals for excellent data integrity, data availability and data quality through your support with operating and maintaining our modern, cloud-based data analytics landscape.
In this exciting job, you work on the following tasks:
- Designing, developing and maintaining scalable data processing flows
- Closely collaborating with tire research and development experts to understand the business requirements for designing and further improving our solutions
- Collaborating on projects with cross-functional teams in specialist departments and IT

Qualifications
- Academic degree in computer science, engineering, data science or related studies
- Advanced knowledge working with data warehouses / data driven use cases and applications
- Advanced skills with database technologies, proficiency in SQL
- In-depth experience with ETL processes or tools (e.g. Matillion, KNIME, Talend)
- Working knowledge for reporting and data visualization solutions (e.g. Tableau, Power BI)
- Software development skills (e.g. with Python, JavaScript, Java) are a plus
- Professional working proficiency in English (written and spoken), no additional language required
- Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Willingness to work independently
- Solution-oriented thinking
- Intercultural sensitivity
