What you'll be doing...
As the Automation & Reporting Engineer, with your UI analytical, statistical skillset, storytelling expertise, you will deliver business value through rich UI Dashboards and data automation by driving insights to actions. One way you will accomplish this is by developing rich UI analytical dashboards using Qlik Sense and implementing Industry best practices. The analytical design thinking and user experience recommendations you provide will help business to make informed decisions.
- Acting as a business enablement catalyst across multifunctional teams and be responsible for building innovative design solutions by performing comprehensive statistical data analysis using cutting-edge data visualizations.
- Automating of the manual tasks involved in daily/weekly/monthly reporting.
- Participating in cross-functional project teams to identify critical items required from a visualization and automation perspective.
- Presenting and communicating the findings in an understandable and actionable way.
- Performing thorough data analysis, uncover opportunities, address business problems, interpret business requests and translate that into design.
- Creating and maintaining data visualizations that educate, inform and engage business partners on key metrics, performance measures.
- Optimizing reports and dashboards by implementing industry standards and best practices.
- Documenting and demonstrating UI design and automation solutions by developing wireframes, production documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, and models.
- Summarizing, grouping and visualizing data sets and information for management and executive review utilizing Digital tools.
What we're looking for...
You'll need to have:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Operations Research, or other Quantitative fields or one or more years of work experience.
- One or more years of relevant work experience.
- Experience in any of the BI tools like Tableau or Qlik Sense.
- Experience in developing automated solutions using Python, Unix Shell and other scripting languages.
- Experience with modern source control repositories (e. g. Git) and devOps toolsets (Jenkins/ Ansible etc.) and familiarity with Agile/ Scrum methodologies.
- Experience in developing best-in-class Visualization.
Even better if you have one or more of the following:
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in building E2E scalable mid to large size business intelligence (BI) solutions (data sets, queries, reports, dashboards, analyses - or components of larger solutions to answer business questions with data).
- Experience in handling large volumes of data across multiple platforms including traditional (Teradata, Oracle) and Cloud-Based (Google Cloud, AWS) for scalable and efficient BI solutions.
- Experience in investigating and solving complex technical problems and data discrepancies.
- Any BI tool certification.
- Exposure to one of the ETL tool preferably Alteryx or KNIME tools.
- Ability to work without close supervision communicate and manage priorities effectively to meet deliverables.
