Job Description


We’re looking for a UK based Compliance Data Analyst, you’ll work with a growing team of multidisciplinary Compliance and Risk specialists to build world class regulatory oversight metrics.

Your role within the team


You’ll also work with product teams and peers, to develop metrics that will showcase the effectiveness of our compliance programme through data. The data will also help to inform us of where there are problems to fix.


To achieve this, you will need to collaborate with operational teams across the organisation to find data and metrics that they use to measure their successes.


You will do this by w orking with Compliance oversight to identify data and information needs and turn them into functional data requirements. You’ll also identify appropriate data sources from multiple teams and build on top of these to create valuable regulatory risk metrics.


In Addition, You’ll


You’ll liaise with various teams of across the global organisation on the definition of data points in reports and data feeds and generate and quality assure custom reports, dashboards, data extraction or analysis summarising Reg KPIs.


  • Analyse comparative data and present regional and global reports related to compliance risk assessments and monitoring of compliance related issues. These reports will be used within our governance and to help inform our Board on compliance health.
  • Advice on data aspects and/or techniques that can be used to exploit additional data opportunities to showcase effective oversight management or that can be used to resolve issues arising out of the data ineffectiveness.
  • Develop and refine compliance metrics reporting methodology and ongoing monitoring and evaluation of the risk landscape to mitigate potential data quality gaps and control deficiencies.
  • Use your capability and experience in BI development to on board both senior stakeholders and colleagues alike.


Skills Needed


We’d love you to have worked in a BI/DA role with good data visualisation experience and experience using SQL, SSAS, SSRS and Power BI. You’ll be a creative thinker and problem solver, who enjoys taking novel ways to overcome issues.


In Addition, You’ll Have


  • Excellent SQL, SSRS and Power BI skills as well as great planning and organisation skills.
  • Exemplary presentation skills with a Passion for data mining and working with both structured and unstructured data sources.
  • Audit or Assurance role experience in any regulated industry, would be great, but not essential.


You'll also enjoy working within a team and building relationships with other departments.
